Department Of Mechanical Engineering

The department has well qualified and experienced staff and has well equipped laboratories. Results are excellent from 1995 to 2005, out of 33 university ranks our students of Mechanical Engineering have bagged 23 ranks in whole North Maharashtra University. Department having separate CAD/CAM laboratory with most generous software's like Pro-Engineer with all modules, Catia, MSC Nastron and Patron, AutoCAD, Unigraphics. These software's are beneficial in Mathematical Modeling, Finite Element Analysis, Solid Modeling to students for their project work, research and advanced knowledge.

We are also having CNC machines, Computerized Co-ordinate Measuring Machine and mini Steam Power Plant. We also provide these facilities to other Industry and Colleges. A separate Internet Centre which provides free Internet facility to students of our department is available. Departmental library with lot of reference books, training CDs and membership of ARAI, Pune is also available. The workshop is very spacious and well equipped with all machines required for good workshop in any Engineering College. The Mechanical Engineering Department
